You might have guessed that this isn’t the northwest of Scotland, my usual theme. It does fit my mood quite well though.
Recently a lot of little things have been going wrong, days ago a burst pipe, this morning the heating packed it in, closely followed by the dishwasher. As I struggle to dry a saturated carpet, keep warm with Scottish woolens and cups of tea and hand wash the dishes piling up, I’m re-discovering my caravan-self. I’m very grateful to be reacquainted with my more adaptable, stoic, intrepid and grateful self. I am surprisingly happy because I’m well aware that these things going wrong are exceedingly small.
