Time for a quick haircut? Look at the sky descending, the other colours in sharp relief as the band of available light narrows - this is a dramatic and stunning shot made all the more interesting by the old barber’s chair. How many people have sat to be shorn in this on a Saturday morning, before going to the dance Saturday night? Going to the dance, suit jacket dusted off, 1/4 bottle in the pocket and all the promise of a great evening ahead. If only that old chair could talk.
