Shieldaig, West Rossshire - Highands of Scotland.  This is a very small village in the wilds of the Scottish Highlands.  It’s very beautiful with the undisturbed nature that you would expect of an out of the way enclave.  I lived there once, interesting community.  If you are wondering, the thing on the water in the left of the photo is a fish farm.

Thank you for your support in following me “incoherent-rants.”  Your blog is full of feeling and lovely images.  I hope you get to build on the land in Somalia, to live there again one day.  I have chosen this image of the beautiful Somali woman who reminds us  that nature offers us the solutions, beauty does not come from a salon treatment or bottle. Somali women use qasil, which comes from a tree and is used as protection from the sun and to maintain good skin.
